The Role
Join our dynamic Internal Communications team at easy Jet.
Reporting to the Internal Communications Director, you'll play a key role in shaping and delivering strategic communications that connect our people to our purpose, strategy and culture.
As a senior member of the team, you'll lead high-impact communication and engagement campaigns, partner with senior leaders across the business, and ensure our key messages resonate across the organisation.
You'll also manage one direct report and contribute to the wider Internal Communications strategy.
What You'll Do
- Develop and deliver strategic communication and engagement plans focused on embedding easy Jet's purpose, strategy and promise behaviours.
- Lead people-centred communication campaigns that bring our priorities, initiatives and colleague experiences to life.
- Partner closely with business functions to ensure key messages are effectively communicated and amplified through targeted campaigns.
- Lead, plan and create content for major leadership events and offsites, working closely with Executive and Director-level stakeholders.
- Oversee the planning, development, delivery and measurement of People Team communication and engagement activities.
- Ensure the Employee Value Proposition (EVP) is embedded across internal communications and engagement activity.
- Provide strategic counsel and communications expertise to senior stakeholders and the wider Internal Communications team.
- Contribute as part of the Internal Communications Leadership Team to the ongoing development of our communication strategy, channels and content.
- Manage and develop up to three direct report.
- What You Need to Succeed
Experience & Skills
- Minimum 8 years' experience in Internal Communications.
- Experience acting as a trusted communications advisor, developing business-focused communication strategies and plans.
- Proven experience working closely with senior leaders and influential stakeholders.
- Outstanding writing, editing and presentation skills.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation and influencing skills.
- Experience within aviation, transport or a fast-paced consumer-facing industry would be advantageous.
