Join Our Mission: Transforming the Travel Experience
At easyJet, we are reshaping the future of travel. We are transforming our Airport & Ground Experience through modern product-led technology, operational excellence, automation, data, and AI-enabled capabilities. Our mission spans over 150 airports and operational locations. We build and support the digital products that power airport operations, passenger processing, baggage handling, frontline ground crews, and critical infrastructure.
Role Purpose
Your core focus is to lead and evolve the delivery operating model for our entire mission. You will provide strategic leadership, governance, and coaching to a team of Regional Delivery Managers executing airport deployments across Europe. By partnering closely with Product Managers, Technical Leads, and Domain Architects, you will drive predictable, high-performing tech rollouts that keep our airline flying efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and scale the delivery framework, aligning multi-product tech rollouts with broader business priorities.
- Manage mission-level planning, establishing clear governance, tracking KPIs, and resolving cross-product dependencies.
- Lead RAID management (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies), driving swift escalation and problem-solving.
- Line manage, coach, and develop a high-performing team of Regional Delivery Managers.
- Align regional capacity with mission priorities to ensure seamless local delivery execution.
- Oversee all airport technology deployments and change initiatives across our network.
- Enforce strict operational readiness criteria (supportability, training, service acceptance) before any product transitions live.
- Define and maintain delivery metrics and flow measures, building dashboards to track delivery health and predictability.
- Remove systemic blockers to scale throughput and promote a culture of continuous learning.
- Act as the primary delivery authority for senior Technology and Operations leadership.
- Manage external suppliers and Ground Handling Partners to keep rollout timelines tightly aligned.
What We Are Looking For
- Proven Delivery Leadership: Extensive experience steering complex tech delivery systems, agile frameworks, and product-led operating models within a scale environment.
- Aviation or Logistics Expertise: Strong baseline understanding of the commercial and operational realities of a high-volume, low-cost airline (or a similarly complex, 24/7 operational industry).
- People Leadership: Proven success managing, coaching, and scaling distributed or regional delivery teams.
- Deployment Rigour: A sharp focus on operational readiness, transition to support, and risk mitigation for high-stakes software or infrastructure rollouts.
- Stakeholder Mastery: The communication skills to influence internal product/tech teams, senior operational leaders, and external third-party suppliers alike.
