The Team
Our Procurement team manages a significant proportion of easyJet's external spend, partnering closely with teams across the business to deliver value and drive performance and resilience. This role sits within Commercial and Corporate Procurement and works hand in hand with our Commercial leadership team. Together, we shape sourcing strategies and operating models, support the management of complex supplier relationships and support growth across areas such as Distribution and channels and Inflight Retail.
The Role
As Lead Procurement Manager – Commercial, you will take ownership of a high‐impact portfolio of spend, acting as a proactive business partner to our Commercial teams. You will lead end‐to‐end procurement activity, from market and spend analysis through to operating model review, complex tenders, contract negotiation and supporting supplier relationship management. With a strong commercial lens, you will help maximise value, protect our supply base and support revenue growth, including opportunities linked to partnerships and new revenue streams. This is a role for someone who enjoys autonomy, influence and challenge and making things happen quickly, while always keeping the bigger picture in mind.
What we are looking for:
- Proven experience in commercial procurement and category management
- A strong track record of leading complex tenders and negotiations
- The ability to influence and partner with senior stakeholders across the business
- Solid understanding of market dynamics, contract structures and risk management
- A strategic mindset with the drive to find smarter ways of delivering value and savings
- Experience supporting or negotiating revenue‐generating or commission‐based partnerships is an advantage
- You will be proactive, resilient and comfortable working at pace, with the judgement to balance commercial outcomes and long‐term relationships
Practicalities
This full‐time role will be based in Luton and will be 40 hours per week. We support hybrid working and we spend 60% of our time per month in the office.
