We are easyJet – a FTSE‐100 listed, £multi‐billion low‐cost airline that serves tens of millions of customers every year. In this role you'll help deliver safe and efficient operational flight plans, ensuring every flight meets the highest standards of safety, compliance and service.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure all flight plans are safe, efficient and aligned with our business model.
- Manage LIDO in the production of operational flight plans.
- Analyse and correct flight plan errors in close collaboration with the Navigation Team.
- Monitor ATFM regulations and en‐route weather, taking action to minimise operational impact.
- Reduce delays and improve efficiencies during normal and disrupted operations.
- Amend flight plans in response to flight crew requests.
- Mentor new Flight Planning Officers and deputise for the Senior Officer when required.
- Deliver functional projects and capture performance data to meet departmental KPIs.
- Promote a strong safety culture through accurate incident reporting.
Qualifications and Experience
- Experience within flight planning or a related discipline is an advantage.
- General knowledge of operational flight plans.
- Good understanding of aviation meteorology and geographical awareness.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with potential leadership qualities.
- Ability to work flexibly under pressure and adapt to changing timescales.
- High level of PC literacy; experience with company systems is an advantage.
- Good technical knowledge of the European Air Traffic Network.
- Willingness to take on additional tasks and duties.

Practicalities
This full‐time role is based at Luton, working an average of fourteen 12‐hour shifts per 28 days, including both day and night shifts.
