The Ancillaries & Proposition team is responsible for building and evolving easyJet’s industry leading commercial proposition – a coherent portfolio of products, services and partnerships that delivers strong customer value and sustainable revenue growth across the end to end journey. The team spans Ancillaries, Bundles, Flexibility and Commercial Partnerships and works closely with Trading, Digital, Product, Marketing, Data, Operations and Finance.

The Role We are looking for an Ancillary Strategy Lead to join the Ancillaries & Proposition team and work closely with the Head of Proposition. This strategic role shapes the medium to long term direction of easyJet’s airline wide commercial proposition. You will develop strategy, assess growth opportunities and lead complex cross‑portfolio initiatives. You will act as a strategic extension of the Head of Proposition, owning deep analytical work, strategic option development and cross‑functional leadership that enables high quality, timely decision making at Commercial and Executive level. This is not a BAU delivery role. It combines insight‑led thinking, commercial rigour and execution leadership to translate ambition into action.

Requirements

  • Proven experience leading structured, insight‑led problem solving in complex, ambiguous environments.
  • Strong commercial judgement with experience assessing revenue growth, pricing, customer value and investment trade‑offs.
  • Advanced analytical skills including strong Excel and experience with SQL and modern BI tools.
  • Experience shaping or optimising customer propositions, products or services.
  • Deep understanding of how proposition design influences behaviour, value perception and long‑term loyalty.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, particularly in PowerPoint.
  • Confident influencing senior stakeholders through clear storytelling and evidence‑based recommendations.
  • Background in commercial strategy, proposition management, product strategy or consulting preferred.
  • Experience in aviation, travel, e‑commerce or consumer businesses advantageous but not essential.

Practicalities This full‑time role will be based in Luton and will be 40 hours per week. We support hybrid working and we spend 60% of our time per month in the office.
