We call that our \”Orange Spirit\”, and we hope you\’ll share that too.The Job This position will report directly into the Head of Legal for Commercial, delivering strategic, commercially focused legal services to the wider easyJet business. You will work as a member of a close‐knit and highly regarded Commercial Legal team to provide commercially savvy legal advice and support to the wider business in our Commercial, Customer, Marketing, IT, Airport and Ground Operations teams, with support to other areas such as Fleet and Engineering & Maintenance as needs arise.Responsibilities General commercial contract negotiation and advice: draft, review, negotiate and finalise a broad range of commercial and other contracts including agreements relating to product sales, marketing, commercial partnerships, customer service and experience, IT, airport, and ground operations, and provide ad‐hoc advice on day‐to‐day matters (including contract clause interpretation and disputes).Regulatory compliance and advice: advise on rules and regulations governing easyJet\’s activities, including marketing and advertising, provision of flights and related products, and consumer protection to ensure pragmatic risk management and compliance with laws in the UK and key non‐UK markets.Continuous improvement: simplify team processes and assist with innovation by providing feedback and suggestions for improvement, engaging proactively in fact‐finding, building relationships across the business, and driving improvement projects.Qualifications UK qualified lawyer with 2–5 PQE and broad commercial contracting experience, ideally in‐house or through a client secondment with experience gained in a variety of commercial contracts.Experience with supply‐chain issues, e‐commerce business models, SaaS contracting, data protection laws and related issues.Sound contract drafting skills and experience in face‐to‐face negotiations.Strong team player who builds trust and relationships at all levels, listens well, values different perspectives, and confidently shares your own views while keeping easyJet\’s best interests in mind.Comfortable in a lively, informal, open‐plan office and passionate about the easyJet brand, its values, and delivering an excellent customer experience.What you\’ll get in return Competitive base salary with up to 20% bonus potential.25 days holiday, pension scheme, life assurance, and a flexible benefits package.Discounted staff travel scheme for friends and family.Annual credit for discount on easyJet holidays.\’Work Away\’ scheme, allowing you to work abroad for 30 days a year.Electric vehicle lease salary‐sacrifice scheme.Location & Hours of Work We operate a hybrid working policy of 60% of the month spent with colleagues.Application Process Interested candidates should apply through our careers portal.Reasonable Adjustments At easyJet, we are dedicated to fostering an inclusive workplace that reflects the diverse customers we serve across Europe.
