THE TEAM

You’ll be leading a talented and passionate learning design team that is focused on raising the bar for training across the business. The team is creative, collaborative and driven by delivering simple, effective learning that truly supports our people to succeed. THE ROLE

This is a brilliant opportunity to combine leadership with creativity. As Instructional Design Lead, you’ll set the vision for what great learning looks like and bring it to life through your team and your own design expertise.

  • Lead and inspire a high‑performing team of instructional designers, setting clear standards and expectations
  • Act as the final quality gate, ensuring all learning outputs are engaging, consistent and high quality
  • Design impactful, creative learning experiences that drive real behaviour change
  • Transform complex content into clear, practical and visually engaging learning solutions
  • Partner with stakeholders and subject matter experts to shape ideas into meaningful learning journeys
  • Bring learning stories to life through innovative approaches that capture attention and drive engagement
  • Balance pace and quality, delivering the right learning at the right time in a dynamic environment

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

  • A strong track record in a creative/design field with experience leading or mentoring others
  • A creative mindset with a passion for building engaging, learner‑focused experiences
  • Confidence working with stakeholders and subject matter experts
  • The ability to simplify complexity and create clear, accessible learning
  • A high attention to detail with a drive to continuously raise standards

PRACTICALITIES

This full‑time role will be based at London Gatwick with onsite presence Monday to Friday. The role requires flexibility to travel across our easyJet network as needed, depending on business requirements.
