Job Description β Fuel Supply Chain Officer (16192)
> Assist in the development, maintenance, and approval of Monitoring Plans for ETS Schemes, CORSIA, and RFEUA across all relevant states.
> Support Fuel team in managing the supply chain of total Jet fuel Operation for the airline (c. Β£2.1bn pa or 2.8 bn litres purchased at over 160 airports)
> Support in developing easyJet\βs Jet fuel supply chain options at all base airports, from product sourcing through to delivery into-wing, in order to achieve:
Security of Supplywhile ensuring optimum efficiency
Independence, Control and Accountability, removing reliance on major oil companies
> Support negotiation of supply contracts with oil companies and traders, to ensure Jet fuel and future alternative fuels is available at any time for the lowest price, including:
Supporting Central Procurement with preparation and issuing Tender documents
Supporting Central Procurement and Finance to build and assess financial modelling of tender responses
Propose splitting of contracts to reduce peak staff requirements
> Liaise with Airport Managers, Fuel Suppliers, Into Plane Suppliers and internal stakeholders for over 160 airports across the network to develop innovative ways to improve operational efficiencies, by:

Developing deep knowledge of on-airport refuelling operations
Analysing Tableau reports to analyse and minimise fuelling delays
Work with Ground Ops managers to know about any ITP challenges and give heads up to Central procurement.
> Support in ensuring that the correct Operational procedures are adhered to by all fuel suppliers and service providers, by:
Auditing fuel facilities for safety (in accordance with JIG fuel procedural regulations endorsed by IATA (apply worldwide)), and quality & efficiency
Managing refuelling training with 3rd party provider
Supporting Ground Operations to ensure all NCRs and incidents are investigated and actioned
Prompt coordination in Operational matters such as Fuel tankering and support in ensuring Fuel availability at βDivertβ Airports.
> Support in ensuring compliance with all audit guidelines:
> Ensuring Fuel inspections are entered in a timely manner in Safety net and relevant observations are followed up for timely closure.
> Application of MOC in Fuel Ops especially Fuel Tenders deployment.
> Adding content and improving the design & content of recently set up Fuel Operations share point page.
> Support tender deployment activities once tender results are finalised. This includes engaging internal stakeholders such as procurement, ground operations, ICC as well as external entities such as Cubiquity to ensure a successful Go Live at each airport.
> Collaborate with fuel suppliers to identify supply chain vulnerabilities at key locations and develop proposals for a resilient long-term infrastructure.
> Support training for all relevant employees to ensure robust adoption of succession plans and compliance requirements.
Requirements of the Role
KEY SKILLS REQUIRED
> Moderate knowledge of Fuel Supply Chain
> Preferred / moderate HSSE knowledge of RAM
> Understanding of contracts and KPIs
> Engineering background preferably with Oil & Gas experience (3+ years).
> Any Aviation Operations experience will be an advantage.
> Role involves 10-20 % travel or / as required by the business.
