As Finance Manager for Engineering & Maintenance Supply Chain, you will lead the financial strategy and oversight of easyJet’s Supply Chain programme, ensuring robust financial governance and cost‑effective decision‑making across all workstreams.

Own the end‑to‑end financial management of major supply‑chain contracts and sourcing decisions, providing insight into RFP preparation, evaluation, and negotiation. Serve as the senior finance business partner to Supply Chain and Procurement leadership, offering authoritative financial insight into supplier proposals, cost structures, investment decisions, and operating‑model choices. Lead business‑case development and approval for major sourcing strategies and capital investments, presenting recommendations to senior leadership and Ex‑Co‑level stakeholders. Collaborate closely with the Fleet & E&M Finance Team and the wider FP&A team to deliver strategic financial leadership.

Qualifications

  • Qualified accountant with at least 3 years of post‑qualified experience, ideally within aviation or an allied industry (e.g., engineering or supply chain).
  • Proven ability to thrive in large, complex, fast‑moving organisations with multiple competing priorities.
  • Excellent analytical skills, with deep knowledge of variance analysis and key business drivers.
  • Experience leading financial modelling for major commercial decisions, including NPV/IRR, scenario analysis and cost‑benefit frameworks.
  • Supply‑chain, procurement or engineering finance experience is advantageous.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder‑management skills, able to challenge effectively with senior stakeholders up to Ex‑Co level.
  • Track record of translating complex financial analysis into clear, actionable insight for non‑financial audiences.
  • Experience managing or mentoring junior finance professionals.
  • Proactive team player, self‑starter with high motivation and enthusiasm.
  • Excellent Excel skills (including financial modelling).
  • Knowledge of SQL, Python or TM1 is advantageous.

Practicalities
