Description

The Job:

Reporting into easyJet’s Head of Distribution & Channels, the Distribution Key Account and Trading Manager is responsible for managing strategic distribution partnerships and optimising trading performance across indirect channels (e.g., GDS, OTA, TMC, consolidators). This dual-function role drives partner engagement and provides data-led trading insight to maximise revenue and channel efficiency. Working cross-functionally, the role plays a key part in shaping and delivering the airline’s third-party distribution strategy.

What you will be doing:

· Own and manage key distribution partner relationships, acting as the primary commercial contact.

· Lead Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs), performance updates, and contract discussions to ensure alignment with business objectives.

· Identify joint business planning opportunities, co-marketing activity, and distribution initiatives to drive incremental revenue.

· Negotiate and manage commercial terms, incentive structures, and SLAs with partners in line with strategic goals.

· Collaborate with Legal, Procurement, and Finance to ensure contracts are commercially sound and compliant.

Trading & Performance Optimisation

· Monitor daily and weekly sales and revenue performance through indirect channels, identifying risks and opportunities.

· Collaborate with Revenue Management, Trading, and Pricing to align distribution levers with route-level strategies.

· Analyse partner-level booking data, yield trends, and conversion metrics to inform channel management decisions.

· Provide actionable insight on trading variances, campaign effectiveness, and partner performance to senior stakeholders.

· Support indirect channel revenue forecasts and contribute to commercial planning cycles.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

· Work closely with Network Strategy, Business Travel, Ancillaries, and Digital teams to deliver a joined-up channel strategy.

· Feed partner feedback and market intelligence into product, technology, and pricing roadmaps.

· Support the onboarding and enablement of new partners, technologies, and distribution capabilities (e.g., NDC, rich content, ancillaries).

· Represent the Distribution function in cross-departmental forums, workstreams, and project teams.

Requirements of the Role

What you will need to do the role:

· Proven experience in airline commercial, distribution, or partner management roles.

· Strong knowledge of indirect distribution ecosystems, including GDSs, aggregators, and TMC/OTA segments.

· Excellent analytical and reporting skills, with the ability to turn data into actionable insight.

· Collaborative – Exemplary people skills, able to work with diverse internal and external stakeholders. Able to build productive relationships internally with clear evidence of strong influencing skills.

· Experience with QBRs, contract management, and commercial governance processes.

· Analytical – Proven decision-making ability, highly numerate with strong analytical skills and a structured risk-taking mind-set, willing to trial new ideas with a test and learn mentality
