Overview
As our Data Analytics Engineer at easyJet holidays, you’ll play a key role in making data accessible, reliable, and valuable across the business. Reporting to the Senior Data Analytics Manager, you’ll work alongside data engineers and data scientists to build robust pipelines, develop high quality visualisations, and support teams across the organisation in making informed decisions. You’ll take ownership of building and maintaining analytical dashboards and AI tools using ThoughtSpot and Redshift, turning business needs into clear, accurate, and actionable insights. You’ll also design and refine data pipelines within our Python/Dagster ecosystem, ensuring everything is well documented, tested, and built to scale. Your work will underpin the way we understand performance, identify opportunities, and improve customer and commercial outcomes.
The role includes contributing to our DataOps tooling, improving governance, and maintaining compliance across our data estate. You’ll also support and coach others, including supplier based resource, helping to strengthen the data capability across the wider team. This is a hands on role with impact across the whole organisation, supporting our ambition to embed data into every part of how we operate.
What you’ll bring to the team
We’re looking for somebody with a blend of experience across data analysis and data engineering, with strong SQL skills and hands on experience in Python development, including version control with Git. You’ll be comfortable building and maintaining data pipelines using modern ETL/ELT tools such as Dagster, dbt, AWS Glue or similar, and ideally have experience working within cloud environments like AWS or GCP.
You’ll have worked with business intelligence tools like ThoughtSpot, Tableau or Power BI, and understand how to translate complex requirements into clear, effective visualisations. You have a logical and methodical approach to solving problems, with a strong analytical background and high attention to detail.
You’re confident working with stakeholders to shape requirements, prioritise effectively, and deliver solutions that meet business needs. You’re comfortable managing competing demands in a fast paced environment, and you’re able to explain technical concepts clearly. You’re also experienced in guiding technical teams, sharing knowledge, and supporting others to build capability across a range of disciplines.

The role is full-time and based at our easyJet holidays HQ near Luton Airport. We operate a hybrid working model of 3 days per week in the office.
