Team
The Commercial BI team provides insight and reporting that powers decision-making across easyJet’s Commercial function. This role focuses on ancillary and in-flight retail areas, including subscriptions, baggage, seats, and onboard retail products. We work with commercial leaders and external partners to track performance, understand customer behaviour, and identify revenue opportunities. We combine technical expertise with a commercial mindset to turn data into actionable insights that shape strategy and drive business impact.
Job purpose
The BI Analyst will be part of the Commercial BI team supporting easyJet’s reporting for non-ticket ancillary, subscription programmes and in-flight retail. This includes services such as baggage, paid seats, bundled packages, third party services, easyJet PLUS, and onboard food and drink, covering product profitability, stock optimisation, and customer purchasing behaviour. You will partner with commercial leaders and external partners to identify and solve business issues with a commercial and analytical mindset, delivering actionable insights.

What you’ll be doing
- Query and analyse data using statistics and technical skills (SQL, Excel, Python preferred).
- Act as a subject matter expert, supporting and fulfilling reporting needs for stakeholders.
- Design and implement tracking mechanisms for new and existing products, capturing detailed performance metrics and translating findings into actionable recommendations.
- Deliver regular and ad hoc analysis to optimise product range, operational processes, and sales efficiency.
- Collaborate with internal and external partners on end-to-end project initiatives.
- Identify and address gaps in reporting, proactively working with data teams to improve data accessibility and self-sufficiency.
- Maintain high standards of data quality, documentation, and integrity for traceability and auditing.
- Work alongside customer teams to analyse behaviours around products and services.

- Be pragmatic in creating documentation to ensure information is captured for traceability and auditing purposes.
What you’ll bring
- Strong academic background with a degree (1st or 2:1) featuring mathematical content and modules on statistical analysis.
- Previous experience as an analyst in a commercial environment.
- Highly numerate and analytical, with proficiency in SQL, data visualisation platforms (e.g., Tableau, Looker, PowerBI), and preferably Python.
- Creative and proactive problem-solving skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to manage projects from concept to execution, adapting to changing priorities.
- Solid understanding of reporting methodologies, including KPI identification and testing approaches.
- Able to communicate complex data and insights clearly to non-technical audiences.

Location & Hours of Work
This full-time role will be based in Luton and will be 40 hours per week. We support hybrid working and spend 60% of our time per month in the office.
