As one of our B1 Licensed Engineers you’ll play a vital role in keeping our customers moving and reducing delays - and helping us continue to have the highest technical reliability of any Airbus fleet in the world.
Following a new pay agreement, we’re excited to share that salaries across our Engineering & Maintenance team have recently increased making now a great time to join us as we go live with recruitment for this role. As part of an 800 strong team, you’ll do this by using your technical knowledge of aircraft to perform maintenance activities on our fleet of A320 and A320neos to industry leading safety and technical standards. Working under the guidance of Duty Engineers or Aircraft Maintenance Supervisors, you’ll carry out defect rectification and routine servicing using the latest tools and technology.

What you need to do this role
- You’ll need to hold a UK Part 66 B1 License (preferably holding A320 type rating), have operational maintenance experience, and possess technical knowledge of aircraft along with the hand skills needed to get the job done.
- You’ll be comfortable using aircraft maintenance documentation and computer-based reporting and recording systems and have working knowledge of health and safety legislation.
- You’ll also naturally need to be able to work effectively as part of a team, with the focus and flexibility to meet deadlines and overcome operational challenges and being able to collaborate with people at all levels within our internal structure.

Location & Hours of Work
This full-time role will be based in Gatwick working either NNNN 10.75-hour shifts or DDNN 12-hour shifts. Shift pattern will 4x4 with occasional travel requirements to easyJet’s headquarters or network locations.
