We’re looking for a dedicated and confident Senior Carer to join our friendly team at Hollywynd Rest Home — a small, independent residential care home with a Good CQC rating.
You’ll be joining a well-established and supportive team with a long-standing Manager and Deputy, and a caring, stable staff group who are passionate about providing high-quality, person-centred care to our residents.
About the Role
As a Senior Care Assistant, you will:
- Run the shift when on duty, ensuring high standards of care and teamwork are maintained.
- Support, guide, and mentor care staff — leading by example on the floor.
- Work closely with the management team to maintain compliance and uphold our person-centered values.
- Work 36 hours per week, including every other weekend
- Have the opportunity for overtime when available.
About You
We’re looking for someone who is:
- Passionate about resident care and continuous improvement.
- Flexible, reliable, and confident in leading a team.
- Calm under pressure and able to make sound decisions.
- Keen to progress within their care career.
Qualifications & Experience:
- NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (preferred).
- Experience as a Senior Carer or in a similar leadership role within a care home setting.
