Familiarise yourself with the key responsibilities, such as providing therapeutic support and maintaining accurate records. This will help you answer questions confidently and show that you're genuinely interested in the position.

Showcase Your Experience

Since the job requires a minimum of 6 months' experience in a similar setting, be ready to discuss your past roles. Prepare specific examples of how you've encouraged positive development in children and young people, and how you've worked collaboratively with teams. This will demonstrate your suitability for the role.

Highlight Your Qualifications

If you have relevant qualifications like Level 2 or 3 in Health & Social Care, make sure to mention them during the interview. Also, if you hold a PMVA or Team Teach certificate, bring it up! These qualifications are essential for the role and can set you apart from other candidates.

Prepare Questions to Ask

Interviews are a two-way street, so prepare some thoughtful questions to ask your interviewer. Inquire about the team dynamics, the support provided by the Care Management Team, or the types of challenges you might face in the role.
