We’re working with a children’s home in Ilford that is looking for a Deputy Manager to join their team. We are looking for an experienced Deputy Manager for an Ofsted‑registered EBD children’s home in the London Borough of Redbridge. You will work 9 am – 9 pm, 4 days per week, plus on‑call rota alongside the manager. Please note, sponsorship is available for this position.
What we need from you:
- The ideal applicant must be a confident driver with a valid UK or international licence.
- Have a good standard of spoken and written English.
- Experience working as a Deputy in an EBD children’s home.
- Strong knowledge of safeguarding, behaviour management, report writing, and liaising professionally with social workers and other agencies is essential.
- Ability to act as a positive role model and provide consistent leadership to support the young people.
The role:
