- Provide advanced clinical perfusion services for adult cardiac surgery, including routine, complex and emergency procedures.

Requirements
- Hold a Postgraduate Diploma in Perfusion Science or an equivalent qualification.
- Have accreditation from the Society of Clinical Perfusion Scientists of Great Britain and Ireland.
- Maintain active registration with the College of Clinical Perfusion Scientists of Great Britain and Ireland.
- Possess extensive post-qualification experience working independently in adult clinical perfusion.
- Demonstrate experience managing complex and emergency cardiac procedures, including aortic dissection, cerebral perfusion and hypothermic circulatory arrest.
- Have experience in minimally invasive cardiac surgery (MICS) and VA-ECMO management.
- Demonstrate strong clinical judgement and the ability to make critical decisions under pressure.
- Possess leadership skills, including the ability to mentor trainees and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
- Be capable of developing departmental clinical standards and perfusion protocols.
- Desirable: Advanced professional accreditation, an MSc in Perfusion Science, experience with MiECC and VV-ECMO, and involvement in clinical research.
- Meet current UK professional registration requirements and any applicable Skilled Worker visa sponsorship criteria.
- Competitive salary: £66,274–£73,496 per year.
