The predicted salary is between 22000 - 26000 £ per year.
Under the direction of the SENCO and the Class Teacher, you would be required to provide support for children with additional needs. Other duties would include:
- Working with and supervising the physical/general care of individuals and groups of children under the direction of the teacher.
- Providing general support to the teacher in the management of pupils in the classroom, and contributing to the planning, development, and implementation of intervention as appropriate.
- Modifying or adapting activities or resources as agreed with the teacher to enable pupils to achieve intended learning outcomes, and providing regular feedback on pupils’ learning and behaviour to the teacher/SENCO.
The ideal candidate will have had some experience working with children with ADHD/ASC and be enthusiastic, conscientious, and self-motivated. They will have a patient, nurturing nature and be effective in promoting concentration and good learning behaviour.
