We need a caring and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team. The role involves supporting people in care homes or receiving home care services to remain healthy, comfortable and independent. This position has a real impact by providing tailored attention and care.
Responsibilities- Help clients with daily tasks such as dressing, personal hygiene, and mobility.
- Support clients in maintaining their independence and self‑respect.
- Follow individualized care plans to meet each person’s needs and preferences.
- Provide emotional support and companionship.
- Administer medication as directed by doctors and nurses.
- Keep accurate records of care provided and report concerns or changes in client condition to supervisors.
- Assist with light household chores, including meal preparation and cleaning when needed.
- Drive clients to appointments or social events as required, ensuring safe travel.
- Valid driver’s licence and ability to safely transport clients.
- Previous experience in a care facility or home‑care setting is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
- Proficient English communication skills, able to listen and speak clearly with clients and colleagues.
- Basic computer skills for maintaining records and updating care plans.
- Kind‑hearted and genuine desire to help vulnerable individuals.
- Strong organisational abilities and adherence to detailed care plans.
