Overview
Nottingham Trent University is looking for a Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Macroeconomics (permanent position). The department promotes innovation and a multi‑disciplinary approach, working closely with industry, the public and third sectors. It offers undergraduate and postgraduate provision in Economics and associated Business and Finance specialisms.
Key Responsibilities
Working closely with the course leadership team, the role requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills as well as supporting the learning of our students at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. The successful candidate will contribute to the development, assessment and management of academic programmes within the subject area.
Experience in researching and teaching on international trade and economic development will be advantageous. A passion and enthusiasm for teaching and nurturing the next generation of economists is essential.
Qualifications
We encourage applications even if you do not meet every single requirement. Relevant experience in economics, especially international trade and development, is desirable. Communication and teaching skills are required.

Salary range: £39,162 – 57,418 per year.
