Bluegate are looking for a hands-on Lead Equipment Engineer to drive performance in a wafer fabrication facility and keep our critical tools running at peak efficiency.

You’ll be the go-to leader on shift—balancing technical expertise with people management to deliver uptime, quality, and results.

  • Lead and motivate Engineers, Technicians, and TPMs
  • Maximise equipment availability and productivity
  • Own maintenance, fault-finding, and improvement activities
  • Work closely with Production, Process, and Vendors

What You’ll Bring

  • HNC+ in Electronic, Mechanical, or Mechatronic Engineering (or equivalent experience)
  • Strong electronic engineering knowledge
  • Wafer fab equipment and process experience
  • Proven leadership and organisational skills
