About the Role: We’re seeking an experienced and passionate Learning Disabilities Support Worker to join our team in Camden. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of adults with learning disabilities, helping them live independently and confidently within their community.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide person-centred support to adults with learning disabilities in supported living and community settings
  • Promote independence, choice, and inclusion in all aspects of daily life
  • Assist with personal care, daily living skills, and community participation
  • Implement Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) strategies and ensure safe, compassionate care
  • Maintain accurate care plans, risk assessments, and daily records
  • Uphold safeguarding principles and adhere to the Care Act 2014 and related legislation
  • Work collaboratively with families, health professionals, and local authorities

Requirements:

  • NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care – Adults (or equivalent)
  • Right to work in the UK
  • DBS on the update service with the physical copy
  • Mandatory training Certificates
  • Strong knowledge of Safeguarding, Positive Behaviour Support (PBS), and the Care Act
  • Excellent communication, empathy, and teamwork skills
  • Reliable and professional, with a person-centred approach
  • Full-time availability (Monday to Friday) & Weekends
