Nannie Annies Day Care is a nursery with branches in South Woodford and Woodford. We create atmospheres and cultures that celebrate a child's individuality and support them in any way possible to reach their full potential, developing at their own pace and in their own way. Based on the EYFS framework, we deliver our curriculum to each child in a way that maximises their interest and enhances developmental outcomes. Our approach is innovative and covers STEAM, Brain Development, Literacy and Language, Visual Arts, Music and Movement, and Nature.

Role Duties:

  • Lead and manage the nursery team to deliver exceptional childcare and education.
  • Develop and implement policies that promote a positive learning environment.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and company policies.
  • Oversee daily operations, including staff scheduling and resource management.
  • Foster strong relationships with children, parents, and staff to support a collaborative community.
  • Monitor educational programmes to ensure they meet the company's innovative standards.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for children and staff.
  • Lead staff training and professional development initiatives.

Essential Requirements:

  • A level 3, or above, qualification in Early Years Education.
  • 3+ years of experience in a nursery setting.
  • Proven management and leadership experience within early childhood settings.
  • Excellent understanding of childcare regulations and standards.
  • Excellent communication skills in English.
  • Extensive experience working with children in a nursery or preschool environment.
  • Ability to inspire and lead a team effectively.
  • Passion for early childhood education and child development.
