In order to offer outstanding support and assistance to people in their own homes, nursing homes, and private residences, we are looking for caring and committed female carers. The ideal female candidate will be dedicated to improving clients' quality of life by providing them with individualised, considerate, and sensitive care. It is also ideal to have prior experience in hospice care, dementia care, or senior care. This position provides the chance to work in a professional and encouraging setting while significantly improving people's lives.
Duties of a Live-in Carer- Help clients with everyday tasks like clothing, grooming, bathing, and mobility assistance
- Give people with dementia, Alzheimer's disease, or other cognitive impairments specific care
- Encourage the administration of medications in accordance with recommended procedures
- Make wholesome meals based on dietary needs and tastes
- Involve clients in worthwhile pursuits to enhance their mental and emotional health
- Use appropriate behaviour management strategies and patience to handle behavioural issues
- Assist with transportation for appointments or excursions while maintaining safe driving habits
- Keep thorough notes of the care given and any modifications to the client's condition
- When required, administer first aid and react quickly to crises
- Help with minor cleaning duties to maintain a hygienic and secure setting
- Only female carers – prior experience in home care, assisted living, or nursing homes required
- Understanding of patient care procedures, including those related to physical disability and dementia
- First aid and medicine delivery certification or training required
- Capacity to assist with mobility support and carry out heavy lifting when necessary
- Valid driving licence with a spotless record for transportation duties
- Outstanding communication abilities combined with a compassionate and understanding attitude
- Ability to work different shifts, such as days, nights, or weekends, as needed
- Capacity to operate both individually and in a multidisciplinary group
- Dedication to upholding client dignity and confidentiality at all times
