Our client, DNV21 LTD, based in Leicester, is seeking an experienced and commercially driven Business Development Manager to support its continued growth within the online sales and e-commerce sector. As the business expands its presence across Amazon and other digital platforms, this role will play a key part in driving sales performance, identifying new opportunities, and supporting long-term growth strategies. The successful candidate will be responsible for market research, product and category development, sales optimisation, and supplier relationship management, with a strong focus on data-driven decision‑making. This role requires a solid understanding of the UK e-commerce landscape, Amazon marketplace operations, and emerging consumer trends.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, organise, and conduct market research in line with the organisation’s marketing and sales objectives.
- Monitor, analyse, and optimise the sales performance of Amazon product listings across UK markets.
- Analyse pricing structures, advertising metrics, and conversion data to develop actionable, data-driven sales strategies.
- Coordinate product promotions, deal campaigns, and new product launch activities to maximise sales performance.
- Manage and optimise Amazon PPC advertising campaigns in collaboration with internal teams and external partners.
- Support the rollout of the company’s new e-commerce website by assisting with analytics, pricing strategies, and category planning.
- Research and identify new product categories and emerging market trends aligned with UK consumer demand.
- Build, develop, and maintain strong relationships with UK and international suppliers and manufacturers.
- Conduct competitor analysis, including product listings, customer reviews, and pricing comparisons, to support effective product positioning and strategic decision-making.
Qualifications & Experience
- Graduate level or Master’s Degree in Business Management.
- Previous experience in Business Development management with any e-commerce business.
- Any Management training would be an advantage.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Preferably, hold a training in the online sales industry.
Salary & Benefits
- £50,000 – £56,000 per year, depending on experience.
- Annual holidays.
