The Trustees at Victorious Academies Trust would like to appoint a Kitchen Assistant at Poplar Street Primary School, Ravenwood Drive, Audenshaw, Manchester, M34 5EF. Our Trust’s vision is to support young people to develop the aspiration, motivation, and be successful; we have high ambitions for all young people in our academies, and all roles at our academy are central to ensuring that we work to support this.

Details about the role:

  • From November 2025 to 31st August 2026 or on the return of the postholder, whichever is the soonest.
  • The Kitchen Assistant’s full-time salary is £24,413.
  • This role is temporary, part-time 7.5 hours per week – Term Time Only with an actual salary of £4,352 (Grade A – Scale Point 2).

Victorious Trust Academy is looking to appoint an enthusiastic, hardworking Catering Assistant to work as part of a team within the school who provides high-quality, nutritious meals to pupils and staff. Must have a friendly disposition, be willing to work as part of a team, and help where needed. Must be willing to undertake any job requested and work flexibly.

Duties include:

  • Serving pupils
  • General cleaning
  • Assisting the Kitchen Manager as required

Uniforms will be provided.

The proposed timescale for the selection and interview process is as follows:

  • Interviews will take place on Tuesday, 18th November 2025.
