We’re looking for an experienced, empathetic Home Care Assistant to join our team. You’ll provide person-centred care to clients in their own homes, supporting their daily living needs and improving their quality of life.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with personal care (bathing, dressing, grooming)
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Support mobility and transfers
- Administer medication as per care plans
- Light housekeeping
- Accompany clients to appointments and social activities
- Monitor and report changes in health or well-being
- Maintain a safe, comfortable home environment
- Keep accurate records and follow safeguarding and company policies
- Build positive relationships with clients, families, and colleagues
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum 2 years’ UK domiciliary care experience (essential)
- Fluent in English (spoken and written)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Caring, patient, reliable, and positive
- Flexible and able to work independently
- Full UK manual driving licence and willingness to travel locally
- Right to work in the UK
- Available to work evenings and weekends as needed
