Complete job description – Health Care Assistant:
- Only female drivers.
- Help clients with personal care activities like eating, dressing, cleaning, and using the restroom.
- Carry out simple household duties like vacuuming, dusting, and changing bed linens.
- Help ensure that clients are lifted, transferred, repositioned, and moved safely.
- Take patients to their doctor’s appointments.
- Clients’ physical and mental health should be observed, tracked, and documented. Any changes should be reported right away to senior staff.
- Encourage your clients to engage in leisure and social activities.
- Taking care of home chores like laundry and grocery shopping, meal preparation, and serving at the proper time.
- Giving topical and oral medications while being watched over by medical professionals.
- Offering emotional and mental assistance.
- Making suggestions regarding the treatment strategy to family members and medical staff.
- Setting up appropriate leisure activities for the patient.
- Working together with other medical and social workers to deliver the best care possible.
