Overview
We are seeking a trustworthy and professional DHL Delivery Driver to join our logistics team. The successful candidate will be responsible for securely and quickly delivering packages to various destinations while providing excellent customer service. This role offers a fast‑paced environment and the opportunity to contribute to smooth delivery operations.
Responsibilities
- Follow all traffic regulations and corporate rules when driving a DHL delivery vehicle.
- Plan and stick to efficient delivery routes to maintain daily schedules.
- Load and unload packages, ensuring goods are handled correctly and safely, including lifting large items.
- Obtain signatures or proof of delivery and keep delivery records up to date.
- Communicate clearly with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status or any issues.
- Inspect the vehicle regularly and report maintenance needs promptly.
- Maintain a professional appearance and uphold the company’s reputation when interacting with customers.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar position within a warehouse or logistics setting.
- Valid driving licence with a clean driving record.
- Experience operating large trucks or vans for business purposes.
- Ability to lift heavy items safely and efficiently.
- Strong communication skills and courteous interaction with clients and coworkers.
- Organised route planning and punctuality in deliveries.
- Previous warehouse experience is helpful but not required.
