Support service users with learning disabilities in a home‑based care setting in Clitheroe. You will research local community activities, plan visits to swimming pools, gyms, and walking routes, and bring energy, humour and encouragement to help clients live rich and rewarding lifestyles.

Responsibilities

  • Assist clients with daily living skills and personal care.
  • Plan and accompany clients to community activities such as swimming, gym sessions and walks.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, families and team members.
  • Maintain accurate, confidential records of care and progress.
  • Support clients in developing independence and social skills.

Experience & Requirements

  • Welcome applications from experienced carers and those new to the sector.
  • Flexible working hours including evenings and weekends; up to 22.5 hours per week.
  • Car drivers are desirable.
  • Agree to a structured induction and values‑led training programme (Creative Support’s Development Pathway).
  • Must be located in the UK and eligible to work here.
