Overview

We are seeking a caring and committed Care Assistant to provide excellent care and support in a home care or assisted living environment. Effective communication, adherence to care plans, and dedication to improving clients’ well‑being are essential. A valid driver’s licence is preferred for transport duties.

Duties

• Assist clients with daily tasks: meal preparation, personal hygiene, medication administration.
• Follow individual care plans to deliver personalized support.
• Maintain regular communication with clients, families, and healthcare staff to update progress and address concerns.
• Keep detailed care records and notify staff of any changes in condition.
• Encourage community engagement and support clients with social activities.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety guidelines for a clean, safe environment.
• Transport clients to social events or appointments as required.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in home care or care home settings (preferred).
• Strong written and spoken English communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
• Basic IT skills for record‑keeping and communication.
• Valid driver’s licence (beneficial).
• Enthusiasm for providing high‑quality care to those in need.
