This manager will ensure the store operates efficiently and cost-effectively by managing inventory levels, reducing waste, and ensuring ingredients and supplies are available to meet customer demand without overstocking.

Responsibilities

  • The Stock and Inventory Manager is responsible for maintaining optimal inventory levels, minimizing waste, and ensuring product availability to support smooth day‑to‑day operations.
  • This position plays a key role in cost control, food safety, and overall store efficiency.
  • Monitor and maintain accurate inventory of all food items and supplies.
  • Place regular orders with approved vendors based on usage and forecasted needs.
  • Receive, inspect, and properly store deliveries.
  • Implement and oversee FIFO (First‑In, First‑Out) procedures to minimize waste.
  • Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly stock counts and reconcile discrepancies.
  • Track food waste and implement waste‑reduction strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with standards and local food safety regulations.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of storage areas (coolers, freezers, dry storage).
  • Prepare regular inventory and waste reports for management.
