About the Role
We are recruiting Aviation Security Officers to work at Manchester Airport. The role involves delivering excellent customer service and aviation security. You will be part of a dynamic team responsible for aircraft protection, aircraft and baggage searches, and passenger searches where required. CTC and DBS checks are required for all potential candidates.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide great customer service to passengers and customers.
- Report all security incidents and concerns to the security supervisor.
- Work positively and effectively with all team members and other airport and airline colleagues.
- Comply with training, security regulations and company policies and procedures.
- Work safely at all times in line with safety standards, policies and procedures.
- Act professionally, dress smartly and be an excellent timekeeper.
- Complete any reasonable tasks required by the company or line manager.
- Support on‑demand operations to ensure flights depart on time.
Minimum Qualifications
- Unrestricted right to work full time in the UK for a minimum period of 12 months.
- UK resident for the last 3 years.
- Fluent in spoken and written English.
- Good customer service and communication skills.
- Pass CRC check.
- Pass all required training.
- Five‑year checkable employment history or evidence of any period of unemployment, self‑employment, or full and part‑time education during that period.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and work in outdoor weather conditions.
