Responsibilities:
- Remove attachments from metals and process scrap metals.
- Follow site safety procedures, company policies, and health and safety standards.
- Keep work area clean and well-organised.
- Work as part of a small, supportive team to maintain smooth operations.
Qualifications:
- Experience as a Metal Recycling Yard Operative, Skip Hire Waste Operative, Warehouse Operative, Labourer, Recycling Operative, Refuse Loader, Mechanic, or Maintenance Technician.
- Experience working outdoors in all weather conditions and standing or walking for long periods.
- Experience using hand and power tools.
- Desirable experience in Waste Management, Metal Recycling, Skip Hire, Construction, Demolition, Scrap Metal, Quarries, Aggregates, Fencing, Landscape Gardening, Timber Merchants, Warehousing, Highways Maintenance, Plant Hire, Scaffolding, Groundworks, or Maintenance.
