Staff Partners are currently looking for Mental Health Support Workers with a passion for delivering outstanding care in a specialist hospital setting. My client is one of the UK’s leading private healthcare providers with a unique approach to the delivery of care. With a network of over 80 services across England and Wales, providing four services including Adult Mental Health, Neurological, Learning Disabilities & Autism, and Children & Education. The site provides emergency admissions services for men and women, and a pathway for women to rehabilitation, including a specialist service for personality disorders. Additional sites specialise in different areas of Mental Healthcare.
Main Duties
- Provide care to people with mental health conditions
- Learn about individuals’ specific needs & provide help in the most appropriate way
- Assist with medical & welfare needs
- Report on medical & welfare needs as required
- Safeguard
- Maintain a safe, clean environment for all
Qualifications & Attributes
- Genuinely driven with a desire to make a real difference in people’s lives
- An excellent communicator & a good team player
- Sensitive & intuitive with the energy required to provide a trusting, stimulating & varied environment
- PMVA training certificate
- Experience in mental health support work or support work in general (preferred)
