Our client, a cleaning product supplier, is seeking a dependable and hardworking Warehouse Operative / FLT Counterbalance Driver to support their day-to-day operations across both the warehouse and office functions.
Main Responsibilities:
- Using internal systems to book parcels and pallets, couriers
- Ensuring the warehouse and yard are kept clean, tidy, and safe at all times
- Dispatching goods within required timeframes
- Carrying out quality checks on incoming and outgoing goods
- Wrapping and strapping pallets ready for dispatch
- Booking in delivered purchase orders accurately
- Putting away delivered goods in the correct locations
- Unloading deliveries and ensuring all delivery paperwork is processed correctly
- Communicating with customers via phone and email
Requirements:
- Previous warehouse experience
- Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence
- Experience using a hand pallet truck
- Computer literate
- Strong customer service skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Comfortable with lifting and carrying
- Experience working within a chemical environment or a strong understanding of health & safety procedures (desirable)
