About the Job
As Deputy Home Manager you will work alongside the Home Manager to oversee the care home. Your key responsibilities include:
- Planning rota schedules and managing staff recruitment.
- Introducing new staff and providing necessary training.
- Ensuring residents’ needs are recognised, assessed and met where feasible.
- Monitoring and managing employee performance to maintain high standards.
- Resolving issues through proper channels and supporting smooth operations.
Qualifications
- Level 4 or 5 in health and social care, or equivalent.
- Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care (or equivalent).
- Previous management experience in an elderly care setting.
- Marketing and finance skills to assist with occupancy and cost management.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently.
- A commitment to promoting and improving the highest standards of care.
