Do you want a rewarding catering role with school-friendly hours?
We’re looking for a Kitchen Assistant to join a school in Bolton.
As a Kitchen Assistant, you’ll be working closely with the Catering Manager and the rest of the team to serve meals, assist with food preparation, washing up and ensure the kitchen is always kept clean.
The Role
- Help prepare and serve meals, following menus & dietary needs
- Keep kitchen & dining areas clean and safe
- Support the Catering Manager and team
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and follow all health and safety procedures
- Minimum 12 months’ previous experience in a catering or kitchen environment.
- An enhanced DBS certificate is desired (essential for working in education settings)
- Strong awareness of food hygiene and safety standards
- Team player with good communication skills and a positive attitude.
