Salary/Rate: £19 per hour
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Cleaner to join our team in Bury St Edmunds.
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the facility, ensuring a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for staff, patients, and visitors.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out routine cleaning duties across designated areas.
- Clean and sanitise floors, surfaces, furniture, and touchpoints.
- Empty waste bins and dispose of waste in accordance with site procedures.
- Replenish consumables such as soap, paper towels, and toilet tissue.
- Clean washrooms, staff areas, reception areas, and communal spaces.
- Report any maintenance issues, hazards, or stock shortages to management.
- Follow all health and safety regulations and infection control procedures.
- Ensure cleaning tasks are completed to the required standards and within allocated timeframes.
Requirements
- Previous cleaning experience is desirable but not essential.
- Good attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude.
- Ability to follow cleaning schedules and site procedures.
- Good communication skills.
