Location: Taunton

Salary/Rate: £13.14 per hour

Typical Shifts are: Monday – Sunday 20:30 – 08:00, working 2 shifts a week, including alternate weekends.

As a support worker with us you’ll help people gain more independence in their daily lives, while working within a dynamic team to support a fantastic group of people.

Our supported living service in Taunton offers a welcoming and friendly environment, ensuring no two days are the same. You will support the people we serve by teaching new life skills, assisting with personal care, encouraging community participation, socialising, and engaging in a variety of activities. From attending local bars and pubs to unwinding, playing video games, watching films, or going to the cinema, each day offers new experiences.

This role is ideal for someone who wants to make a real difference and help others grow in confidence and independence so they meet their goals, whether that’s preparing meals or going on holiday.

We look for Support Workers with a full UK driving licence, resilience, flexibility, calmness in their approach, experience with Positive Behaviour Support plans and reflective practice, and experience working with individuals requiring enhanced support, including behaviours of distress, mental health conditions, autism, forensic histories, and trauma survivors.
