A permanent full-time position (Office-Based) with a salary around £40K per annum according to experience plus one month conditional bonus.

Location: 168, Fulham Road, London, SW10 9PR (Office-Based 5 days per week).

About the Role:

We’re looking for a hands-on Accounts Assistant to support the day-to-day accounting operations of a fast-moving, entrepreneurial business within a small team. Reporting to the Financial Controller, you’ll play a key role in keeping financial processes running efficiently and accurately.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Processing revenue and costs invoices accurately and efficiently by matching them to purchase orders.
  • Managing supplier accounts, including reconciliations and query resolution, and managing supplier payments.
  • Assisting with sales ledger, including raising invoices and credit control, and supporting credit control activities.
  • Performing daily and monthly bank reconciliations.
  • Assisting with month-end and year-end processes.
  • Maintaining accurate records within accounting systems.
  • Supporting expense processing and internal reporting.
  • Helping improve processes and drive efficiencies where possible.

Essential:

  • Right to work in the UK without visa sponsorship.
  • 3 years’ experience in an accounts role.
  • Qualified or part qualified accountant or equivalent degree.
  • Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy.
  • Proficient using Excel and accounting software and purchase order systems (easyGroup uses Sage 50).
  • Experience in using Salesforce, Docusign, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Loading payments for approval with online banking (easyGroup uses Coutts).
  • Good organisational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Comfortable working in an office-based, fast-paced environment.
  • Comfortable working as part of a small, efficient team.

The salary will be earned based on timesheets and an agreed hourly rate for 40 hours per week. Some travel will be required and will be remunerated at a higher hourly rate, and 48 hours per week will be required. There will be a conditional bonus of one month's salary based on company and personal performance.
