Easyfairs , we're looking for a hands‑on Head of Marketing to lead the marketing strategy for three of the UK's leading manufacturing exhibitions:
- Advanced Engineering
- Southern Manufacturing
- UK Metals Expo
This isn't a role for someone who wants to sit on the sidelines. We're looking for a doer , someone who enjoys rolling up their sleeves, leading from the front and inspiring a small team to deliver exceptional campaigns.
You’ll manage two direct reports, work closely with our Head of Community & Content and report directly to the Head of Portfolio.
Together you'll shape the future growth of one of our flagship event portfolios.
What you’ll be doing
You’ll own the marketing strategy from planning through to delivery, creating integrated campaigns that drive registrations, exhibitor engagement and commercial growth.
You’ll
- Lead the marketing strategy across a portfolio of market‑leading B2B exhibitions.
- Plan and deliver multi‑channel campaigns across email, social media, PPC, SEO, content and partnerships.
- Oversee and develop a team of 6, with direct management of two talented marketing managers
- Work closely with sales, content, operations and external partners to deliver exceptional events.
- Own campaign performance, reporting and optimisation using data and insight.
- Manage websites, marketing automation and CRM activity to maximise audience growth.
- Produce engaging content that resonates with engineering and manufacturing audiences.
- Manage budgets and ensure strong ROI across all marketing activity.
- Continually test, learn and innovate to improve campaign performance.
- We're looking for someone who has
- Exhibitions or B2B events marketing experience
(essential).
- Experience managing integrated marketing campaigns from strategy through execution.
- Strong digital marketing expertise across email, social, SEO, PPC and content.
- Experience managing or mentoring people (or you're ready to take that next leadership step).
- Strong commercial awareness with a data‑driven approach to decision making.
- Experience using CRM, marketing automation and analytics platforms such as Hub Spot and Google Analytics.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- The energy to thrive in a fast‑moving, collaborative environment.
