Hybrid - Twickenham, SW London (TW1 3QS). B2B exhibitions sales experience is a requirement for this position. Must be comfortable with travelling to the US/ working US hours as needed as this role will be working on a US event launch.
As part of the DAS team, this role will play a pivotal part in launching and growing the US edition of the Digital Accountancy Show, helping bring one of the UK’s most forward-thinking accountancy and finance technology events to a new international market. The successful candidate will be responsible for building market knowledge across the US landscape, developing relationships with key exhibitors and industry partners, and driving commercial growth through new business and account development.
Working closely with the Event Manager and wider DAS team, they will help shape the event strategy, identify emerging sectors and revenue opportunities, and contribute to creating a must‑attend event for senior finance and accountancy professionals in the US. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to play a hands‑on role in scaling an ambitious international event launch.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop strong market knowledge early, including key sectors, competitors, trends, and growth opportunities.
- Build and maintain long‑term, sustainable relationships with exhibitors and customers.
- Create and regularly update Sector Coverage Analysis (SCA) to identify market gaps and opportunities.
- Identify and propose new features, zones, pavilions, and commercial opportunities to support revenue growth.
- Become highly proficient in EF processes, systems, and internal ways of working.
- Deliver against sales targets, KPIs, and Critical Sales Path (CSP) objectives.
- Work collaboratively with the Event Manager to support and shape the event’s commercial strategy.
- Foster strong account relationships to encourage repeat business and account growth.
- Lead by example in sales performance, KPI achievement, and overall commercial delivery.
- Support Sales Executives where needed to help achieve team KPIs and revenue targets.
- Proactively identify and develop new exhibitor leads and business opportunities.
- Contribute ideas and input into event promotional content and exhibitor marketing initiatives.
- Produce accurate weekly sales reports, pipeline updates, and performance insights.
- Minimum 3+ years’ experience in B2B exhibitions, ideally in a senior sales executive, account management, or commercial sales role.
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets and KPIs.
- Strong relationship‑building and account management skills.
- Commercially minded with the ability to spot growth opportunities and drive revenue.
- Excellent communication, organisation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a fast‑paced event environment.
- Proactive, self‑motivated, and results driven.
- Experience working on the launch or growth of new events, brands, or international market expansions.
- Previous experience working within the US events market or with US‑based exhibitors, sponsors, or clients.
- Exposure to international B2B exhibition sales across multiple territories or regions.
- Experience selling into the accountancy, finance, SaaS, or technology sectors.
- Strong understanding of emerging technology trends, particularly within AI, automation, fintech, or digital transformation.
