We have a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Graphic Designer to join our growing Marketing Intelligence & Technology (MIT) team, supporting a global portfolio of events and products across 5 regions (UK, France, Iberia, Italy and Algeria) in the world’s largest privately owned events business. Easyfairs is an ambitious and driven company, working on a range of exciting launches to develop our events portfolio and digital and media products to connect and inspire the communities we serve.

This is a hands-on design role in a fast-paced events environment. You will produce high-quality, creative work, help to coordinate the design workload, support and mentor other designers, and act as a trusted partner to marketing and event teams. You will regularly see your work in the “real world” – from onsite signage and feature areas to printed magazines and journals, and digital campaigns driving visitors and exhibitors to our events.

The role will be to plan and execute graphic design across multiple portfolios, focusing on websites, email and digital design, as well as event magazines and journals, brochures, video assets, onsite signage, social media templates and much more. Our portfolio covers a wide array of industries, offering a fantastic breadth and scope to work across different design types and formats.

The ideal candidate will have a strong design background and be able to demonstrate a proactive, solutions-focused and creative approach, with the confidence to challenge and guide marketing and event teams. You will bring strong, innovative ideas to improve design standards and processes, help prioritise and manage deadlines across your own projects and the wider team, and act as a supportive senior member of the design function, while being a collaborative team player.

Typical activities in the role include:

  • Liaising with event and marketing teams to determine their requirements and advise on the best design approach
  • Acting as a senior point of contact for design queries and stakeholder feedback, helping to prioritise and manage the team’s workload and deadlines
  • Executing design for digital and print, including magazines/journals, brochures, onsite signage, feature branding, video and social media assets, online advertising, as well as website and email creative
  • Working with the Creative Design Manager and digital team to design website and email templates (experience of HTML or other technical programmes is not required)
  • Reviewing final layouts and suggesting improvements, ensuring work meets brand, quality and timing expectations
  • Supporting, coaching and training other designers and marketing colleagues to improve design output and consistency
  • Collaborating closely with event teams to translate event concepts into clear, impactful visual experiences that work in live environments

Qualifications and skills:

  • A degree in graphic design or equivalent professional experience
  • At least 3–4 years’ experience working in a design team or as a freelancer with comparable responsibility, including managing multiple projects and deadlines
  • Excellent knowledge of design software, such as InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop; experience of After Effects and WordPress/Elementor would be an advantage, but not essential
  • Demonstrable experience of working across a range of formats (magazines/journals, print collateral, digital assets, signage and templates) in a fast-paced environment
  • Exceptional creativity and innovation, balanced with accuracy and strong attention to detail
  • Excellent organisational skills, with proven ability to manage your own deadlines as well as contribute to planning and prioritising work for the wider design team
  • Strong stakeholder management skills: confident in presenting work, handling feedback and building collaborative relationships with event and marketing teams
  • Professional time-management and proactive communication skills, and enjoyment of working as part of a team
  • A keen interest in the latest design trends, tools and best practices, with a commitment to continuous learning and sharing knowledge with others
