We are looking to recruit a Nurse / Support Worker to support transporting a young person from a location in North Yorhsire to school on behalf of North Yorkshire Council The worker is required to support beteen 8 – 9 am and 3-4 pma Monday – Friday (term time only) Location: North Yorkshire The skill set is as follows (essential) NVQ in Health and Social Care, L2/L3 or Care Certificates Basic Life Support (BLS/ILS) Childcare Qualifications Early Years Training First Aid Certificates Safeguarding Vulnerable children Tracheostomy Trained Ventilation Trained Oxygen Therapy Trained PEG trained Understanding of Epilepsy and VNS use Administration of Epilepsy Rescue Medications Understanding of Vital Signs monitoring Awareness of managing the deteriorating child Evidence of working with children with Learning Disabilities Evidence of understanding the developmental needs of a child with additional needs including communication and engagement skills
