Somerset Council are looking for a Housing Options Officer , with 5 years or more housing experience.
The candidate will require extensive working knowledge of the Housing Act 1996 Part VII, Homelessness Reduction Act 2017 and demonstrable evidence of working with-in a housing options team under the homelessness statutory framework. Home working will be considered for the right candidate.
You must have the following:
Ability To Communicate Effectively Both Orally & In Writing To A Wide Range Of People
Ability To Work As Part Of A Team Or Under Own Direction
Considerable knowledge of housing and homelessness legislation and in delivering housing access and homelessness services
Flexible and adaptable
Knowledge Of Part 7 Of The 1996 Housing Act And The Homelessness Act 2002.
You must live within commuting distance to Bridgwater House
You will be covering absence from 24/02/2025 – 31/03/2025
