Join Our Growing Property Development Team

Easy Living Developments Ltd is an established and expanding property development company seeking an experienced, commercially minded Accountant / Financial Controller to lead our finance function.

This is a senior leadership role for an ambitious finance professional who wants to play a key role in supporting the continued growth of the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee all aspects of the group’s financial management and accounting function.
  • Prepare monthly management accounts, financial reports, and cash flow forecasts.
  • Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory obligations, including VAT and CIS.
  • Liaise with external accountants, auditors, banks, and HMRC.
  • Manage payroll and oversee supplier payments and customer receipts.
  • Monitor project profitability and provide financial analysis on development schemes.
  • Develop and improve financial systems, processes, and internal controls.
  • Provide strategic financial advice to the Directors to support business decisions.
  • Lead and mentor the finance team as the business grows.

About You

  • A recognised accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA preferred).
  • Significant experience in a senior accounting or financial controller role.
  • Strong commercial awareness and excellent analytical skills.
  • Experience within property development, construction, or real estate would be highly advantageous.
  • Excellent knowledge of UK accounting standards and taxation.
  • Experience using accounting software such as Xero, Sage, Quick Books, or similar ERP systems.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Strong organisational and leadership abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
