Oversee the IT infrastructure, data center facility and operations.
Review policy, process and procedural improvement on IT infrastructure and make recommendations to the management for the IT infrastructure improvement.
Lead the IT infrastructure team to ensure the delivery of IT infrastructure projects within approved budgets and schedules.
Enhance the skills sets of the team to keep up with evolving infrastructure technologies, industry standards and best practices in IT governance, cyber security and services & operations.
Monitor and respond to the latest IT security threats and risks proactively.
Collaborate with business users and stakeholders, understand their IT requirements and drive the implementation of new IT projects.
Frequent travel to PRC, Indonesia and designated locations is required.
Requirements:
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or other related disciplines.
- Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in regional IT infrastructure support and data center operations, with at least 3 years in a managerial level.
- Substantial experience in the manufacturing industry, specifically in the areas of MS Windows and Exchange Servers, firewalls, VPNs, and network monitoring and troubleshooting is preferred.
- Strong knowledge in telecommunication products, such as Metro Ethernet, SDWAN, VOIP and MPLS.
- Solid experience in project management, data center, analysis and design of infrastructure architecture for new projects.
- Hands-on experience in various IT areas, including server, storage, office automation, data and voice network, virtualization, cloud heterogeneous integration, service outsourcing, system operation & monitoring and business continuity planning.
- Good contract management skills with IT contractors and service providers.
- Strong leadership & management and problem-solving skills, able to work independently and think innovatively.
- Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese.
