Job Description:
Responsibilities
- Work closely with designer to follow through and advise during the development process from material and trims sourcing, sampling and fitting approval, costing negotiations to pre-production confirmations
- Monitor vendor performance, production capacity and lead-time management
- Track and update production status, merchandise information, cost details in the system in an accurate and timely manner
- Identify, address and resolve any development and production issues
- Provide technical resolutions for problem shooting during development and bulk production to facilitate effective business decision making
Requirements
- Diploma or above in Merchandising / Textiles related disciplines
- With at least 3-4 years relevant experience
- Good command in both spoken and written Chinese (Cantonese & Mandarin) andJapanese (JLPT N2 or above ; conversational level)
- Result oriented, with excellent communication skills, responsive and detail minded
- Responsible and organized, and able to work under tight schedules
- Possess effective business liaison skills between vendors and design teams for problem resolutions
