The Role: We are seeking a results-driven Marketing Specialist to plan, execute, and optimize email and direct mail campaigns that drive engagement, conversions, and customer retention. This role blends creative execution with data-driven analysis and requires strong collaboration with all people in the company.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Formulate, and execute innovative email and Direct mail campaigns to drive conversions of prospects and target new customers.
- Develop compelling email copy and collaborate with designers on layouts and templates.
- Manage email calendars, segmentation, personalisation, and automation workflows.
- Monitor deliverability, list health, and compliance (GDPR etc).
- Conduct rigorous A/B testing to optimise design, copy and audience.
- Analyse performance feedback metrics and optimize accordingly.
- Plan and execute direct mail campaigns aligned with marketing goals.
- Coordinate with vendors on printing and fulfilment.
- Manage mailing lists targeting personalization.
- Track campaign performance; presenting to leadership team weekly & ad-hoc.
- Ensure brand consistency and messaging alignment across all mail pieces.
- Collaborate with leadership to develop campaign strategies and goals.
- Maintain accurate documentation, timelines, and reporting dashboards.
- Stay current on email and direct mail best practices, trends, and tools.
Essential Skills/Qualifications: The ideal candidate will preferably hold a degree in marketing, communications or another related field, but it’s more important to have a proven track record on delivering results. You will need to demonstrate you have strong experience delivering email and direct mail (15K+ monthly) campaigns, and in-depth knowledge of performance marketing, digital advertising, campaign management and digitally growing a brand. Ideally with 10+ years of solid Email and Direct Mail marketing.
We are looking for an individual that has exceptional copywriting and editing skills, has an analytical mindset, and a demonstrated ability to develop and execute successful marketing strategies and strong project management and organisational skills.
Nice to have:
- Experience with using CRM systems and/or marketing automation.
- A keen interest in finance, technology and software.
- Experience in SaaS or financial services marketing.
- Hands on approach.
